SIKH YOUTH
are languishing in American Jails. They paid about rupees five lac each
to Jagjit Puri, - the IAS, who is also associated with the Surjit Memorial
Hockey Society for the purpose of obtaining Visa. The modus oprendi of
Jagjit Puri was to send a "fake hockey team" to America on the pretext
of playing a hockey tournament. No one knows how many such hockey players
are in America. The police there is investigating the case and it is further
learnt that Jagjit Puri was recently summoned to American Embassy in New
Delhi for the same purpose. While the youth from Punjab are behind the
bars in an alien land, the person responsible for their miserable plight
[namely Jagjit Puri, - the IAS] is roaming about freely.
In the corridors of power in Chandigarh, Jagjit Puri, - the IAS, is being branded as a "COMPULSIVE LIAR". He was caught on the wrong foot when he gave in writing to the Punjab Government that there existed no "AFFIDAVIT" as was quoted by a journalist in a news item exposing misdeeds of Jagjit Puri, - the IAS. He was cut to a sorry figure when some scribes showed him the copy of his 'affidavit' where in he himself admitted to have 'liquidated' a number of sikh youth by remanding them police remand by flouting all laws and rules. Jagjit Puri, - the IAS, will be thoroughly exposed if a probe is ordered into the embezzlements in the Film Division of the Punjab Public Relations Department, where he was the Director. It is alleged that a huge amount was siphoned off by Jagjit Puri and Company especially during the Khalsa Centenary celebrations. Not only this Jagjit Puri, - the IAS also formed a special small group of some black sheep's amongst the Journalists by bribing them with cash and kind. These black sheep's enjoyed to the maximum during Puri's tenure. Jagjit Puri, -the IAS, also favoured a particular Hotel situated in Chandigarh to host breakfasts, luncheons and dinners in his endeavour to launch a systematic "disinformation campaign" against those who were not gullible. Strangely enough, Chief Minister of Punjab, Parkash Singh Badal, who is also president of the Shiromani Akali Dal [SAD] is shielding Jagjit Puri, the IAS whereas Kashmir Singh an innocent activist of the Akali Dal [Amritsar] was eliminated by the State Police in a fake encounter almost within the first fortnight of the installation of Akali Dal government in 1997. Is Jagjit Puri, -the IAS a 'Sarkari' terrorist? Will the Badal government take action against Jagjit Puri, -the IAS? Perhaps, in the eyes of Badal and Company corruption is neither an act of treason nor a heinous crime. LET CORRUPTION FLOURISH IN PUNJAB, -THE LAND OF NANAK. ![]() ![]() Washington - United States of America have Black listed, Jagjit Puri, an IAS officer belonging to the Punjab cadre who managed to send about 15 to 16 Punjabi youth there as members of the "fake" hockey team. Black listed IAS officer who was promoted from the PCS cadre, is currently holding an important post and considers himself to be the "Think Tank" of the Akali-BJP combine. His job is to boost the "sinking image" of the Badal Government. Reports reaching here disclosed that he in the capacity of an office bearer of a Hockey Federation was able to arrange visa on a written request for a 20-21 member team to play some matches in the United States. The reports further said that of the entire team only 5-6 were genuine players and only 4-5 members of the team returned home while other 15-16 "disappeared" or " absorbed" themselves in united States itself. By sheer good luck the Police was able to arrest three of then and during the subsequent interrogation they revealed that they paid Rupees 4-5 lakh to the said officer for getting visa to enter USA. The case is in the Court now and US Embassy in India has been informed about the activities of the said officer. It is learnt that the US Embassy in India has Black listed the name of the said Punjab cadre IAS officer on instructions from the United State Home Department. The US Embassy, it is learnt, has been instructed in clear terms not to clear visas for those cases bearing the signatures of the said IAS officer. What will be more embarrassing for the Indian government is the stance of the US Home Department which is likely to seek the extradition of the said officer to start legal proceedings against him. |
